Lunette Cups

Just fold, insert like a tampon and it collects blood rather than absorbs it. You empty it rather than change it — a little bit different!

Lunette is designed with you in mind: so effortlessly comfy, you won’t miss out on your favorite activities every month. The stylish pouch holds your cup, and fits conveniently into your handbag. Lunette lives where you do: in your home or your handbag, so ‘tampon runs’ are a thing of the past. Love life, and love Lunette — for nicer periods, no strings attached!

Colour choices...

Lunette Selene is a beautiful aqua blue version of the regular Lunette cup. We named this member of the Lunette family after the Greek moon goddess, Selene. You might know her better as Luna, the Roman name...

The pouch is light blue and matches the cup. The Selene is available in both size 1 and 2. Lunette Selene, just like all our coloured cups, is a limited edition so make sure to get yours before they run out!

Our gorgeous coral Lunette menstrual cup is called Áine...

Áine is the Goddess of moon, love, fertility and Midsummer in Irish mythology. She was later known as an Irish Fairy Queen. Aine is also a Finnish word that means “substance” and “matter”. And this cup really matters! The beautiful coral color is one of the trendiest for the upcoming season and a beautiful homage to this goddess of summer.

The Summer Solstice used to be a great celebration in honor of the Goddess Áine. That is why the coral Lunette Áine was brought out from summer 2011.

The Lunette Cynthia is our deep purple menstrual cup

Cynthia is one the names of Goddess Artemis. This Greek Goddess of the moon, hunt and the night sky was later connected to Selene and Diana and so she is continuing our chain of Moon Goddesses.

Cynthia is an important symbol for young independent and unmarried woman. In Goddess traditions today she is worshipped as a Maiden Goddess. A flower sacred to Cynthia was Amaranth, and it is its healing properties and deep color that inspired us to create this beautiful violet Lunette Cynthia.

Our newest lemon Lunette menstrual cup is called Lucia.

The new lemon Lunette is named after Lucia, the goddess of light. Lucia (Lucina) was a Roman goddess of light with both solar and lunar attributes. She was Christianized as St. Lucia, a saint still honored at Yule time especially in Northern Europe. In Finland the tradition of St. Lucia´s Day is strong. Lucia brings light to the darkness of midwinter, a name befitting for our bright new Lunette. Women are like that too – when at our best real self, we shine on those in our lives.
